We had a fantastic 16 people come along for our first camera club session, we had fun experimenting with water, fruit, food colouring and flash. We had one flash set up where we dropped fruit into water and froze the movement of the splash and fruit. We also used continuous lights with softboxes to backlight a variety of vases which allowed us to drip food colouring into water and capture the colours as they mixed in with each other. Here are some of the photographs taken on our session: (images taken by Caroline Gill, Kate Tomlinson, Mike Whitear, Owen Martyn and Phil Szaniszlo.) for members who want their images posted here, email them to [email protected], to join our Flickr camera club page where you will get feedback on the images you have taken, either at the club or in your own time you can sign up here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/2842894@N25/pool/with/24481551726/ (members only) Our next session is on drawing with light on the 15th of February at Ashwater Parish Hall.
